Strongline –  Deployment Manager

Job Description:

The Strongline Deployment Manager is responsible for managing and implementing the Strongline Safety System. The Deployment Manager will oversee and participate in the planning, installation and maintenance, and support of the Strongline Staff Safety System infrastructure. The Deployment Manger will also plan deployments, procurement of hardware, manage deployment teams, and internal/external training on all aspects of the Strongline Staff Safety System.

Key areas of responsibility include site assessment, team management, creating and adhering to project plans, creating checklists, system support, documenting projects and system activities. The Deployment Manager will work with the Client Success Manager to define and coordinate all areas of a Strongline Staff Safety System implementation. This includes working with Deployment Specialists and client representatives to scope an implementation, to the final provisioning of services, including System deployment, integration, configuration, testing and training.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Participate in project meetings with stakeholders to gather project requirements
  • Serve as point of contact for physical implementation of the Strongline Staff Safety System infrastructure
  • Organize and prioritize project tasks and manage timelines
  • Coordinate system testing for facilities after installation
  • Evaluate facility floorplans for optimal placement of Strongline equipment
  • Allocate hardware and support resources among several clients
  • Manage a team of deployment specialists on site during client implementations
  • Develop deployment processes and procedures
  • Prepare specialized deployment processes for complex or time sensitive facilities
  • Communicate with security teams and other roles dedicated to support of and operation of the system
  • Participate in on-call support for deployed clients
  • Prepare workstations, laptops, and tablets for client deployment
  • Ensure milestones and project deliverables are met by monitoring project timelines and deliverables
  • Anticipate delays and initiate plans for alternative solutions to mitigate risks
  • Maintain a communication between stakeholders and team by providing status reports and handle multiple installs simultaneously with 100% success rate
  • Train team members to achieve high levels of job mastery
Required Experience:
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Excellent prioritization skills and an ability to make decisions quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • An aptitude for acquiring technical skills with cutting edge technology
  • Ability to enter data into online software applications
  • Well-developed planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel with short notice
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to use tools such as ladders, screwdrivers, drills, push carts
